We are constantly developing environmentally friendly products to help replace plastics with fibre-based alternative. All products manufactured by Prestonpak are recyclable. Prestonpak is a sub-division of Preston Board & Packaging.
Sustainability
Circular Economy – Through daily purchase of chipboard reels from Romiley we in effect created our own unique circular economy.
PEFC Certified – In reaction to market changes with raw material fibre sources we took the decision to register for PEFC certification in 2022. Further enhancing our environmental credentials.
FSC® Certified – In 2011 we became FSC® certified. Our raw materials stem from renewable resources and recycled fibres which are in the main purchased from UK and European suppliers.
ISO Manufacturing – At Preston Board & Packaging as successfully obtained both ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for quality assurance and ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification.
